Work involves clerical and technical tasks associated with processing of child support cases. Function DescriptionPerforms administrative duties for the officePerforms inventory liaison dutiesPerforms office supply dutiesServes as backup to the receptionistPerforms travel liaison dutiesPerforms postage coordinator dutiesProcesses incoming and outgoing mailPerforms backup money-handling duties to process child support paymentsAssists staff with equipment/building maintenance needsPerforms time-keeping liaison dutiesPerforms purchasing liaison dutiesAssists management with tracking and monitoring budgetMay serve as a Notary PublicScan and index documentsReview and maintain child support virtual files for accuracy in the Enterprise Content Management (ECM) repositoryPerforms volunteer/intern liaison duties and trains volunteers/internsPerforms related work as assignedMaintains relevant knowledge necessary to perform essential job functionsAttends work regularly in compliance with agreed-upon work scheduleEnsures security and confidentiality of sensitive and/or protected informationComplies with all agency policies and procedures, including those pertaining to ethics and integrity Qualifications: Education: Graduation from high school or equivalentEducation: Completion of three years (ninety credit hours) from an accredited college or university; experience in the following (or closely related) fields may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis: full-time Child Support Program, business administration, complex clerical, secretarial, customer serviceSkill in using a computer for word processing and data entry/retrievalSkill in the proper use of punctuation, sentence structure, grammar, and spellingSkill in handling multiple tasks, prioritizing, and meeting deadlinesSkill in effective oral and written communicationSkill in exercising sound judgment and effective decision makingAbility to receive and respond positively to constructive feedbackAbility to work cooperatively with others in a professional office environmentAbility to provide excellent customer serviceAbility to work in person at assigned OAG work location, perform all assigned tasks at designated OAG workspace within OAG work location, and perform in-person work with coworkers (e.g., collaborating, training, mentoring) for the entirety of every work week (unless on approved leave)Ability to arrange for personal transportation for business-related travelAbility to work more than 40 hours as needed and in compliance with the FLSAAbility to lift and relocate 30 lbs.Ability to travel (including overnight travel) up to 15% Ability to @type 45 words per minute (Typing test required at time of interview)PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSSkills: Using WordPerfect, MS Word, and MS Excel software programsOther Language: Ability to proficiently read, write, and speak Spanish To apply for a job with the OAG, electronic applications can be submitted through CAPPS Recruit.
